18TH HOLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL
Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th June - 2008
 Remarkable, the amount of pure jazz that can be performed
and absorbed within a couple of summer days. At least that's what
the Ulster Jazz Events partnership aims to prove during June 2008.
Only forty eight hours, with half the time devoted to those
infectious and exhilarating sounds now synonymous with North Down
and Holywood's annual jazz experience.
Consider too, the introduction of some brand new festival
venues - stamping-grounds worthy of the dedicated and gifted jazz
artists performing therein, including many who will be making
their first ever festival appearances in Northern Ireland. All
told, a musical extravaganza ideally set up for the connoisseur,
and anyone else with an interest in the classic and traditional
sounds originating from New Orleans, Chicago, Kansas City, New
York et al. |
